With a power delivery similar to a V12 engine, the Triple Rotor Rtoary Turbo in this Cosmo makes the majority of it's power and torque at extremely low RPM's.
The 2-Rotor 13B engine from the RX-7 is rated at the same power level, but with different characteristics. Peak Torque of 402NM (nearly 300lb-ft)is acheived at an astounding 3500 RPM's.
If you're looking for a unique, stylish, and very capable Sport Luxury Coupe, the Mazda Cosmo is an unbeatable choice...and that's not even considering the dirt cheap prices of these cars.
For those wondering about parts, the Cosmo was brought to the US for a very short period in small numbers, so parts availability is slim, but not non-existent. We wouldn't recommend this car as a primary vehicle as it is very unique, and it is a rotary;)
