Details

This Pulsar GTiR is landed, registered, local to Vernon and is available for sale immediately.

The Pulsar GTiR handles like a go cart on steriods! It pulls strong and has rally car handling. It's a great balance between a commuter car and weekend warrior.

The Pulsar GTi-R is easy to find replacement parts for. Most Pulsar parts are available in North America beacuse the chasis is similar to the SR20DE powered USDM 200SX SE-R, Sentra SE-R and Infiniti G20.

Like the Skyline GTR the Pulsar GTiR is a detuned racecar. These cars are very rare in Japan. These pocket rockets take very well to modifications and provide startling on-road performance. Even in stock form, their performance sets them apart from all other cars in its class.

- 1/4 mile: 13.7 seconds
- Weight: 1210 kg
- 0-100km/h: 5.3 seconds
- Suspension: Independent Strut f & r
- Brakes: front/ rear vent disc, ABS

A detuned rally car, ready to be modified and begging to be unleashed. The Pulsar GTiR has all the gadgets and electrics which you will find on most Japanese imports. Everything from electric windows, mirrors and seats to climate control and ABS. For a small car the interior is surprisingly comfortable and with sports tachos, bucket seats, sports steering wheel and rally pedals. Under the bonnet you will find Nissan's SR20DET. Using quad throttle bodies the GTi-R in standard form is rated at a massive 237 horsepower. With this much power available and constant 4WD this little car grips and goes.

Girls car? Certainly not, this is not a car for the shopping mall, but a car to make a fool of almost every other car on the road. A true V8 muncher, this car will compete with everything else on the road and demoralise most. The key is it's 4WD traction and light weight.

This Pulsar was imported in early 2006 through Terra2. It is now looking for a new home as the owner wishes to purchase a house and unfortunately their finances do not allow him to keep this car.

Under 10k KM's have been put on this GTiR since landing in Canada as it's not his primary vehicle.

The former owner was a mechanic and has taken good care of the car in the way of $2500 in general maintenance.

This Pulsar has had it's fluids changed, a CV joint and both boots were done, new tires on the front, iridium spark plugs, boost gauge, and a few other things that we will get the details on if you are interested.

On to the issues;

This Pulsar has the notorious "roof rattle" that Pulsar GTiR's are well known for. It's not a major issue, and just takes time to properly remove the headliner and replace the adhesive holding the roof to the supports as it has loosened and the roof rattle from the vibrations of the engines. The factory motor mounts on GTiR's are nearly solid so there is quite a bit of vibration transferred to the rest of the car. This was a purpose built factory Rally Racing car after all!

This car did have a small low speed run in with another careless driver in a parking lot, requiring a front turn signal and a repaint on a fender, but the paint matches very well and it's difficult to tell even when looking for it. The fog lights have been removed from the front and the space for them remains. The current owner didn't like them, and one of them burnt out, so he took them both out. This would be an easy replacement and gives the car a very aggressive WRC-ish look, like a Rally car should look:)

The car drives well, and overall it's in good condition. It's not immaculate, and that is reflected in the price. He is asking $6,900 CAD OBO, (not including PST, no GST as it's a private sale! This doesn't take into consideration the additional maintenance work put into the car once landed. For a Landed Pulsar GTiR, already registered in BC, well maintained by a mechanic owner, this car is a steal of a deal.

If you are outside of BC,

If you're in a province outside of BC and wish to purchase this vehicle, we can arrange shipping to you in your specified location, or if you wish to fly in to Kelowna we may be able to accommodate a pick-up/delivery at the airport depending on the timing. You will then require a temporary operating permit to relocate the car to your home province and a Provincial safety inspection to register the car. Any repairs or modifications required to meet your provincial standards will be the responsibility of the buyer.

If you wish to have more information on this Pulsar, please let us know. We would not expect this car to last long at this price as even a brokered Pulsar is going for more than this amount these days.
